“Real isn’t how you are made, ” said the skin horse. “It’s a thing that happens to you. when a child loves you for a long, long time, not just to play with, but really loves you, then you become real.”

“Does it hurt?” asked the rabbit.

“Sometimes, ” said the skin horse, for he was always truthful. “When you are real you don’t mind being hurt.”

“Does it happen all at once, like being wound up, ” he asked, “or bit by bit?”

“It doesn’t happen all at once, ” said the skin horse. “You become. It takes a long time, that’s why it doesn’t happen often to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or who have to be carefully kept. Generally, by the time you are real, most of you hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don’t matter at all, because once you are real you can’t be ugly, except to people who don’t understand.”

SING DOLLARS

After the Tuas South Incineration Plant journey,I went to Esplanade to catch some SING DOLLARS,a musical comedy played by probably the most popular artistes in Singapore.Instead of going through the shorter,air-conditioned,commeralised City-Mall Linkway,I took the garden path,from Raffles Place,the route was beautiful.:)

Cheapest tiks have the highest seats..Up,up and away!

Hilarious to the core! for all Singaporean! I m so proud of my Singlish understanding ,all the slangs,community songs and all the news related to Singapore.

Totally corny!
They have changed CNN to KNN,Hotel 81 to Hotel 82,the famous beef hor fun in Lor 9 but they used Lor 8.Hotel numbers were also lucky numbers like 1688 and 1888.Even scenes of TT Duran,Ming Yi monk,Micheal Jackson’s ,the famous toilet escape ,and quotations from Mdm Ho Ching were portrayed! In fact ,the script was so well-written and updated,it seems like it was just written yesterday,very closely related to recent events!

Suddenly,I love Singapore! It’s a fabulous muscial to watch just before National Day,this is home,truly…………….

It was just some random blabbering of my yet-another WOW amazement at some new and upcoming genre ‘listography’ to Eeson,he took a mental note of it and told the others about it.Having planted the idea in their head,they tried to offer me a listography book as a birthday pressie,as it was currently out of stock,I refused, ,hoping to save them some dosh by saying ‘ Use $$ to buy one,i dun wana’ as they+Kua(Kua had given me a book on France culture already) had treated me to a fantastic dinner,some super nice cakes and a most of all some royalty treatment.

‘What if its made by us?’
‘Make then make lah!’

Bay headspeared the project with Cheri ,Bin and Eeson by completing before her baby was delievered,its heart-warming to know that she was rushing the project so that I could get it before I fly and before her daughter was born.

I never thought that they would take my words for real.REAL FRIENDS ,you never know how real they can be.
For this, I’m fully touched.I am blessed not with wealth but the richness of what friendship .For now its all good,hopefully we may be friends for the rest of our lives,I rather believe in this beautiful moment ,that it exists and its for me to treasure and to work on.THANK YOU MY FRIENDS! You have made me believe that friendship among colleagues and ex-colleagues exist.Its beautiful and should never be taken for granted.

Yes,I have rewarded myself well by having an empty slot in the middle of the day,but it alright I was in Borders super duper early and was standing there,guarding the entrance of the door like a door bitch,holding a book as a prop while glaring at the door,without letting a fly escape from my sight.Because,I m so excited,someone very important and nice to me was going to arrive! My oldest best friend from Primary 1,airflown from Maldives(+ her bf airflown from Paris) as she has been working there for about 2 yrs.

My oldest best friend (PH)did not arrive,yet I saw ‘mother hen’ first,if u know her,u know her,’mother hen’ spurred up the excitement in me.Soon, I saw my oldest best friend running to me.She was really like a bundle of spring flowers+ full of paper bags strapped around her.It was just so great to see her and her bf.We shopped around Borders!,PH with lotsa paper bags and bags all over her, was looking like a warrior running around,they really bought many books in a short time.

My old best friend ,since Primary 1,my idol too…DELF C1 + super workaholic+super careerwoman,I know I will never be that workaholic and climb the success ladder that fast.If there is someone who truly deserves the success,it got to be her!

Time flew….we parted…

I miss her so so much!Time with her is always so short.

The 5 litres experiment

This is extremely cool,anyone who want to help an oxford student for his ph.D or what papers which I seriously do not know about,but the website is amazingly cool.

The 5-litres experiment is an exciting adventure initiated by a pair of students in Oxford at the end of 2007. In fact it’s a challenge. We called it “experiment” because nobody has ever tried, and maybe (we hope not) it is impossible.

Because we believe in humanity and because we are sure that the virility has not disappeared we initiated this challenge. A worldwide challenge just for men.

Go guys,get the milk! For humanity ! Be the greatest stallion in the universe !

The rules are simple:

1. Register and request one official 5 litres plastic bottle in this web. That day will be your first day of challenge. From that day on the challenge is in your hands.

2. Send us during the first 6 months a photo of your evolution. In the photo you have to be with the bottle, showing the filled amount.

3. The first person to fill up the bottle wins. Send us the bottle and after verifying that indeed it is sperm, you will be the winner.

The price: The biggest price is the pride to be the greatest stallion in the universe. But still, and so you never forget this 5-litres experiment, the winner will receive 50 L of milk a month for a whole year

As much as I love the electronic world,I really love the traditional paper and pen feels,nothing really beats calligraphy( handwriting) it is encoded with the emotions of the sender and the paper who testify its chronological timeframe is truly an amazing concept.

More and more papertalk,I really love paper and I really hate it when I do not see them being used to the maximum.Here are some alternative ways we can re-use paper, perharps, NEA should set up a ‘blog-your-paper-saving-day’ ! And the best entry can get to plant a tree!How exciting! I’m sure a small fly in the community and I will do my little part and help to save the world.

Lapin has been to France,Bintan and just returned from Bangkok,she will go to Phuket in February! Lapin is currently residing in her little pouch ,where she plays beautiful music (like her creator) on a musical box.
